Kathy Klassen

Kathy has been quilting for 25 years.

What began as quilts for family and friends has evolved into commissioned quilts, hand dyeing fabric, a busy teaching schedule, solo and group shows and machine quilting contracts.

Kathy’s specialty is assessing a design and simplifying the method and teaching it in a class or a series of classes. Classes are taught in Kathy’s home studio or in quilts shops throughout BC. Some of the methods have been developed into patterns or kits.

Kathy’s quilts have been seen at solo and group shows on Vancouver Island as well as a solo show in Winnipeg Manitoba.

Commissioned quilts hang throughout Canada and Europe.
