  There is a peaceful place on Quadra Island where I retreat with a few of my quilting friends to sew and laugh.  I awoke one morning to a thick blanket of fog over the bay.  Thinking of my husband who usually rides over to Vancouver while I am away, I created this small piece as my memory of that time and place...

  My son Josh the artist is able to effortlessly draw the human form, but he was living in Vancouver so when he said “you can do it, mom” I gave it a shot with my purple snowsuit kid.  After getting help from a friend to shorten snowsuit girl's arms and torso, I suppose she will do, and is improved with a few of the tossed leaves falling over her.
