Slick Circles
Kathy has devised a new way to do reverse applique which simplifies the process, making it easy enough for the beginner. You will also learn free form cutting to create interesting circles.

Basic Machine Quilting Workshop
Basic Machine Quilting
12 blocks, 6 hours of fun. We will start with basic straight line quilting and then move into more and more complex quilting treatments. This is not a class to produce the most beautiful quilt in the world but rather a time to begin developing the skills and confidence to tackle your quilts that are taking up space in your studio and in your mind.

Easy Tumbling Blocks Workshop
Easy Tumbling Blocks
Have you always wanted to make the tumbling blocks quilt, but were daunted by the set-in seams? Sarah Nephew devised a way to strip piece the blocks with no set-in seams. Kathy took it a step further and eliminated the need for the special ruler, making the process quick and easy.

From 9 fat quarters plus 0.5m background make this stunning 3D looking quilt which Kathy has re-designed, eliminating the set-in seams. A little more challenging than the tumbling blocks quilt, but worth the extra effort.

Tumbling Treeskirt
Boxes filled with the joy of Christmas giving find their way under your tree. This innovative tree skirt has six towers of boxes tumbling around your tree. Be prepared for challenging piecing as well as the reward of completing the top in one day.

In this class you will construct a simple wall hanging designed by Kathy incorporating the easiest method of trapunto by machine. Also included in the class are the freeform curved pieced borders, as well as appliqué leaves that are made from rubbings of real leaves.
